Felix Wiedemann B.S.C

Felix Wiedemann BSC is an award winning Cinematographer working in feature films, TV Drama and commercials. Felix's feature films released this year include Pete Travis' neo-noir thriller CITY OF TINY LIGHTS with Riz Ahmed in the lead role and psychological drama ROMANS directed by the Shammasian Brothers, which stars Orlando Bloom and has been nominated for Best British Feature at this year's Edinburgh Film Festival. Felix has also photographed Joel Hopkins' HAMPSTEAD starring Diane Keaton and Brendan Gleeson, Simon West's action thriller STRATTON starring Dominic Cooper and David Blair's award winning drama AWAY starring Timothy Spall and Juno Temple. His previous feature credits include Bruce Goodison's acclaimed debut LEAVE TO REMAIN, a drama about refugees in the UK, and Adam Deacon's comedy success ANUVAHOOD. Felix also works on TV Drama, having recently photographed the first episode of PHILIP K DICK'S ELECTRIC DREAMS, Julian Jarrold's THE HOODMAKER, for Amazon Studios, Sony Pictures and Channel 4. Felix previously worked with Jarrold on THE WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION for the BBC starring Andrea Riseborough and Toby Jones, which was nominated for a BAFTA for 'Best Mini-Series' this year. His recent drama credits also include Bruce Goodison's MURDERED BY MY FATHER, Winner of the RTS Award for 'Best Single Drama in 2016', for which Adeel Akthar won a BAFTA for 'Best Leading Actor' this year. Felix won the 'BSC Award for Best Cinematography in a TV Drama' by the British Society of Cinematographers in 2016 for THE GO-BETWEEN directed by Pete Travis, which was also nominated for a BAFTA for 'Best Single Drama'. Previously Felix had been nominated in 2014 by the BSC for the 'Best Cinematography in a TV Drama Award' for Pete Travis' LEGACY, a feature length cold war spy thriller set in the 1970s. His credits also include the Netflix Mini-Series RESIDUE, a supernatural thriller directed by Alex Garcia-Lopez, the BAFTA nominated series MISFITS (Season 3), period drama MR SELFRIDGE (Season 2), and the highly acclaimed TV Film MY MURDER starring John Boyega, which won Best Single Drama at the RTS Awards 2013.
